Rigorous training for faithful ministry
Presbyterian Seminary Budapest offers two degrees: Master of Arts in Religion (MA) and Master of Divinity (MDiv). Both programs are designed to provide rigorous theological formation rooted in the Reformed tradition, equipping men for faithful service in Christ's church.
The MA degree gives the student a solid grounding in theology (systematic, biblical, historical) and the original languages of Scriptures. It aims to prepare the student to serve the church of Christ, and may serve as a step toward the pastoral ministry.
The MA degree is provided in partnership with the Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary (PRTS) and gives a fully accredited diploma by the Association of Theological Schools (ATS).
The MDiv degree focuses on equipping men for the pastoral ministry. In addition to the courses in the MA program, students will study apologetics, pastoral counseling, and preaching.
The MDiv includes all MA coursework plus 14 additional courses in applied theology, giving students comprehensive preparation for preaching, counseling, and leading a congregation.
